The Papilio Art Collection - Tales of Butterflies

Karin’s collection is inspired by tales of butterflies from legends.  

In legends, butterflies are the souls of the dead.  If you see a white butterfly, it is someone coming to say hello to you!
In other cultures, such as the Native American Indians, it is said that butterflies bring your dreams to you when you are sleeping.

The pattern of the butterfly wing is very delicate, yet powerful in design.  I have taken my designs and, together with my research, have created my own Papilio art collection.
